Baker Position at Cub RosemountCub Rosemount is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time baker position! Bakers at Cub prepare, bake and fry a variety of products and finish them with frosting, glaze or icing according to item standards to ensure quality and consistency. This position combines craftsmanship with customer service to provide customers with visually appealing and delicious baked goods!Job Responsibilities:Prepare, bake and fry productsFinish baked or fried product (frost, glaze, icing, etc.)Assist in wrapping or bagging productRotate and stock finished product to fill product gapsAssist with customer questions or requestsJob Requirements:Equipment operation (donut sticks, hopper, fryer, screens, icing warmer, spatula, knives, etc.)Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of timeMemorization, reading, writing and mathThe position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate serviceGood judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately availableHave the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writingMust be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidaysMust be 18 years of age and olderPhysical Requirements:Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.Pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs.Walking on uneven groundReaching, bending, repetitive motionsSchedule:Varied weekly shifts starting at 5:00amWeekends requiredBenefits:Flexible schedule for work life balanceEmployee discountWeekly pay on a progressive union scaleUnion benefits for eligible associates including Paid Time OffCompany: SUPERVALU Inc
