Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are a busy building supply company seeking a dependable Part-Time Box Truck Driver to make deliveries throughout New York City . This position offers the opportunity to become full-time for the right candidate based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a box truck to deliver building materials to job sites and customers throughout NYC.
Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate delivery updates.
Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations.
Follow all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous box truck driving and delivery experience preferred.
Familiarity with NYC streets and boroughs is a plus.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule & Pay:
Part-time with flexible weekday hours.
Opportunity to transition into a full-time position.
Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
