Part-Time Caregiver – 12-Hour Day & Night ShiftsAlways Best Care Senior Services is seeking four experienced part-time caregivers to provide one-on-one care for a client with advanced dementia who resides in a senior living community in Dallas.We are currently hiring for both day and overnight shifts. Caregivers will work two consistent 12-hour shifts per week.This client requires close supervision, patience, redirection, and hands-on assistance with activities of daily living. We are specifically looking for caregivers who have experience working with individuals with dementia or significant cognitive impairment.Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PMNight Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AMApplicants must be available to work two days per week and reliably complete the full 12-hour shift.Responsibilities Include:Providing one-on-one supervision and companionshipAssisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingProviding meal and feeding assistance as neededProviding frequent reminders, cueing, and redirectionMonitoring the client for safetyAssisting with mobility and other activities of daily livingResponding calmly and appropriately to dementia-related behaviorsMaintaining the client's routine and providing reassuranceCommunicating changes or concerns to the appropriate office staffDocumenting care provided during each shiftRequirements:Previous professional caregiving experience requiredDementia or memory-care experience strongly preferredMust be comfortable caring for a client with advanced cognitive impairmentMust be patient and able to provide frequent redirection and reassuranceMust be dependable and punctualMust have reliable transportationMust be able to work two 12-hour shifts per weekThis is a consistent assignment and is ideal for experienced caregivers who enjoy providing individualized care and support to clients living with dementia.
