Job description
Home Care AidePerforms personal care and patient-specific activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:Help with patients personal hygiene careAssist with dressingPrepare meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointmentsPerform light housekeeping activitiesProvide hospice supportive care and medication remindersAssist with the prescribed range of motion exercisesAssist with blood glucose monitoringUse lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer liftsExceptional customer service skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to lift up to 25 lbs on a daily basisPrevious experience in the home care industry as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, PSW, Nurse a plus!Health benefits availableCompetitive compensationFlexible schedulingTraining and support for our caregiversCompensation: $17.20 per hour At Visiting Angels, our mission is to provide the highest quality care to those that you love, and we are so honored to serve.
