Part-Time Catalytic Converter Cutter / Shear OperatorChristensen Recycling is looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Catalytic Converter Cutter / Shear Operator to join our warehouse team. This position will primarily be responsible for safely cutting and processing catalytic converters using our hydraulic catalytic converter shear/cutting equipment.Responsibilities include:Operate hydraulic catalytic converter cutting/shearing equipmentCut and process catalytic converters efficiently and safelyLoad and position converters into the cutting equipmentSeparate converter shells and internal material as requiredKeep the cutting and processing area clean and organizedFollow all company safety proceduresPerform basic daily equipment inspectionsReport equipment problems or safety concerns to managementAssist with other warehouse duties when neededQualifications:Must be dependable and show up on timeComfortable working around industrial machineryMechanically inclined preferredAble to perform repetitive physical workAble to lift and handle catalytic converters throughout the shiftMust follow instructions and established safety proceduresPrevious experience operating a shear, hydraulic equipment, scrap-processing equipment, or industrial machinery is a plus, but we are willing to train the right personSchedule and weekly hours can be discussed based on availability and company needs.
