Certified Home Health Aide (Part-Time)Join Us and Be Apart of the Samaritan Difference!A compassionate job-seeker is needed for the Home Health Aide opportunity with our company! As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality, expert care of your assigned hospice patients. This full-time opportunity offers between $18.75 - $22.00 per hour based on years of experience. Must be able to work every other weekend and 2 holidays per year.What You'll Do:Caring for hospice patients in private homes and/or healthcare facilitiesAssisting with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, assistance with meals, ambulation, re-positioning, etc.Implementing plan of care under the directive of a registered nursePerforming light housekeeping in patient area only, when needed.Documenting patient care in electronic software.Ability to travel to patient homes and facilities as assignedRepresent Samaritan in a positive manner to the patients, families and entire communityOther duties as assigned.What You'll Bring to Our Team:Valid NJ CHHA certificationDriver's License and willingness to travel throughout the service area.Strong verbal and written communication skillsBilingual is a plus!Your Benefits Include, But Are Not Limited To:Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness Program.Tuition Reimbursement403(b) with 5% employer match.Full Medical, Dental, Vision benefits, and more.Generous PTOMileage ReimbursementFree AAA Membership for CHHA'sSamaritan is a leading not-for-profit, locally based provider of home-based primary care, palliative care, hospice care, social connections, grief support, education, and advocacy.
