Certified Medical Assistant – Cross-Trained (Front Desk & Clinical)At AFC, we are committed to delivering fast, friendly, and high-quality patient care. We are seeking a dependable Certified Medical Assistant who is confident supporting both front desk operations and clinical back-office duties. This is a cross-trained, hybrid role where you may be scheduled in one area but must be ready to assist the other as clinic needs shift. You will play a key role in maintaining smooth patient flow, supporting providers, and ensuring every patient receives the exceptional AFC experience we are known for.ResponsibilitiesRoom patients, take vitals, perform point-of-care testing, assist providers, prepare exam rooms, maintain cleanliness and readiness, document accurately in EMRCheck-in/out, verify insurance, collect copays, answer phones, schedule visits, provide clear and friendly communicationRotate between front and back office; support the opposite area when patient volume or staffing requiresDeliver warm, efficient service to every patient; bilingual Spanish preferred to support our communityWork collaboratively with providers, MAs, and administrative staff to maintain AFC standards and clinic flowQualificationsCertified Medical Assistant with active certificationMinimum 1 year of experience in a medical office, urgent care, or similar settingBilingual preferred (Spanish)Strong communication and customer-service skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentReliable, punctual, and comfortable working weekendsPositive attitude and willingness to support wherever neededWhy Join AFCSupportive, team-oriented environmentMeaningful patient interaction in both clinical and administrative rolesConsistent part-time schedule with weekend availabilityCompensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hourAmerican Family Care has pioneered the concept of convenient, patient-centric healthcare.
