Part-Time Detective
The Savannah Police Department is seeking an experienced, dedicated law enforcement professional to join our Criminal Investigations Division as a Part-Time Detective. This unique opportunity is ideal for a current or former certified peace officer who has a passion for investigative work and wants to continue making a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of a reduced work schedule.
As a Part-Time Detective, you will conduct thorough, impartial investigations of criminal offenses; identifies, collects, and preserves evidence; prepares cases for prosecution; and works cooperatively with prosecutors, victims, witnesses, and allied agencies.
We're looking for professionals who bring sound judgment, integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical policing. If you have experience investigating criminal cases, collaborating with prosecutors and partner agencies, and building cases that stand up in court, we encourage you to apply.

Compensation and Schedule
Hourly rate commensurate with experience and departmental pay scale.
