Job description
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging, prepare and position patients, and ensure high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of body tissues and organs
Preparing patients, explaining procedures, and positioning them safely
Setting technical parameters and adhering to safety standards
Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting technical issues
Documenting patient data, imaging details, and procedural information
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic services
Performing routine equipment maintenance and safety procedures
Adapting to different CT protocols and equipment across healthcare settings
Qualifications and skills required:
One year of recent CT technologist experience
Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Critical thinking, strong interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to read, write, and operate PC systems proficiently
Physical ability to move and position equipment and patients
Effective teamwork and professionalism
Visual acuity and the ability to work under pressure
