Job description
Role: Travel CT Tech responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT equipment to capture cross-sectional images of body tissues and organs.
Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Adjust technical parameters for optimal imaging and troubleshoot equipment.
Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
Follow radiation safety standards and perform routine equipment maintenance.
Adapt to different protocols and perform other duties within the scope of practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
One year of recent CT technologist experience.
Valid radiology license and current BLS certification.
Preferred ARRT certification; strong critical thinking, communication, and technical skills.
Physical ability to move and position equipment and patients.
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
