Part-Time CustodianAmerican Wood Fibers (AWF) is a manufacturer of both consumer and industrial products that are sold to multiple manufacturers as well as pet, agricultural, and home-heating markets. AWF is comprised of 400+ employees and holds operations at 11 locations, generating over $100M in annual sales revenue. We are currently seeking a candidate for the Part-Time Custodian role in our Pella, Iowa facility.About the Role:The Part Time Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment within our manufacturing facility. This position ensures that all workspaces, common areas, and restrooms are regularly cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards. The custodian supports the overall operational efficiency by promptly addressing cleaning needs and assisting with minor maintenance tasks. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently during assigned shifts. Ultimately, the custodian contributes to creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere that supports employee productivity and workplace safety.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred but not required.Ability to follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly.Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Legal authorization to work in the United States.Responsibilities:Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal throughout the facility.Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain hygiene standards.Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in designated areas.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.Assist with setup and cleanup for company events or special projects as needed.For consideration…Due to the nature of our business, American Wood Fibers requires a tobacco and smoke-free environment.
