This position will be 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday working hours of 5-11pm. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. The custodian needs to be meticulous and thorough in their work, cleaning and tidying the premises, as well as preventing vandalism.Responsibilities:Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfacesSweep and mop floors and vacuum carpetsWash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)Wipe mirrors and windowsRequired Experience & Skills:Attention to detail and conscientiousnessVery good physical condition and strengthMust be able to pass a basic federal background check investigationMust be able to speak, read, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with the installation emergency procedures, read and understand printed regulations, detailed written orders, operating procedures, training instructions, and materials.Preferred Experience & Skills:High school diploma is preferred but not requiredProven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar roleKnowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliancesKnowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous componentsBilingual preferred in Spanish and EnglishPersonnel must possess sufficient English language proficiency to perform the duties of the position, including the ability to understand and comply with installation emergency procedures, read and follow written regulations and operating instructions, and complete required training materials.Salary Range: $26/hr*Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and certifications.*Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government.*Please note that telework arrangements are subject to change based on customer requirements.Additional InformationCompetitive benefits for eligible employees include:Medical & RxDentalVisionFlexible Spending Accounts401(k) Retirement PlanLife Insurance/AD&DLong Term Disability and Short-Term DisabilityPaid Time OffHoliday PayAll positions require a background check after acceptance of our offer.
