Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP)Hickman County, TN | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours will vary, must be flexible)Progressive Directions, Inc. (PDI) is hiring a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM day shift in Hickman County. This position requires flexibility. While the primary shift is between the hours of 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, applicants must be willing to be flexible with scheduling when needed, including weekends, holidays, and occasional additional coverage. Reliable attendance is essential. The people we support depend on their DSPs being present and ready to work their scheduled shifts.As a DSP, you'll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with their everyday needs while encouraging independence, choice, and community involvement.Responsibilities may include:Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygienePreparing meals, grocery shopping, and completing household tasksAdministering medications according to agency policy and trainingFollowing Individual Support Plans (ISPs)Completing daily documentation and medication recordsProviding transportation to appointments, activities, and community outingsSupporting individuals in making choices and building independenceCommunicating changes or concerns to supervisors and team membersMaintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive home environmentPart-Time Benefits & PerksPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid Sick LeavePaid TrainingOn-Demand Pay – access a portion of earned wages before paydayEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Referral BonusesOpportunities for additional hours and career growthAbout PDIFor 50 years, Progressive Directions, Inc. has supported people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Middle Tennessee.
