Bring your creative culinary skills and desire to work in a safe, comfortable, and climate-controlled environment. We have 2 Cafes and 4 Kitchens in a welcoming, supportive, and vibrant workplace that provides flexible scheduling so you have time to spend with family and friends. Take part in live-action cooking and work in fresh, hip, and unique kitchen and dining environments. Our mission, that the later years of life are filled with the potential for love, growth, friendship, peace, and dignity, succeeds because of our culinary staff. Our Quaker value-centered work environment is a family atmosphere where residents and staff thrive.
One of the most important roles in any kitchen is the dishwashing staff. You maintain high sanitation in the food service department by washing all china, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other materials. Add variety to your day by organizing the freezer and walk-in boxes, handling and storing orders in the proper places, and ensuring all stock is rotated correctly and dated based on guidelines. Our welcoming environment provides a great workplace. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity to work around school schedules. The hours are generally 4:30pm – 7:30 pm.
