Part-Time Door MonitorReports To: PrincipalHours: 3:00pm - 5:00pmQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; valid New Jersey driver's licenseMinimum experience as determined by the boardKnowledge of security measures, fire prevention, and crowd controlFirst aid and CPR training preferredExperience in two-way portable radio communication preferredAbility to maintain order and to work with groups and individuals on matters of security and crisis managementRequired criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien statusJob Goal:To provide security and protection for pupils, staff, and school property.Performance Responsibilities:Monitor the front door and cameras at the school during peak arrival and departure timesOperate and maintain the visitor management systemSign in and out students and visitorsMove small desks to provide a platform for sign in or sign out of student arrival and/or dismissalReceive and carry parcel deliveries to the main officeReceive and carry ski club equipment within the entry area and storage locationA basic working knowledge of Windows based computer operating systemsPerforms related duties as assignedTerms Of Employment:Salary and work year to be determined as mutually agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary Range: $18.76 - $19.67/hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with the contract salary guide.
