As a Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This primarily driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy requirements. Join a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $20.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Wed 05:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur 05:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to shoppers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store personnel and Allied Universal leadership.Assist with access control, visitor directions, and documentation of incidents and daily activities in accordance with location requirements.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
