The General Assembler will interact with multiple people from various departments.The Role: Being a General Assembler means you will work in various types of jobs on the production floor. This position may work in the same position for the entire shift, and other times may be working in multiple positions throughout the shift. This position is a combination of sitting and standing.Responsibilities & QualificationsYou will spend your time:Maintaining clean and orderly workstations and equipmentFollowing prescribed safety regulationsCompleting tasks as designated by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervisionPerforming electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic toolsSitting and standing throughout the nightReporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorRotating to various workstations as requiredPerforming other duties as assignedWe are excited about you if you have:Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and processesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to be on your feet for a 10-hour shiftTeam-orientedDependableGood eye/hand coordinationStrong attention to detailAbility to work overtime with notice when necessary on weekdays and weekendsAbility to pass a pre-employment drug testAbility to read and speak EnglishMust be at least 16-17 years old (for minors under 18 years of age proof of age required)Parental permission required if under 18 years of agePhysical Demands:Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials (0-10 lbs.) up to 50% of time workedMust be able to lift up to 10-30 pounds, chest height up to 5% of time worked.Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching and walking
