Job description
We're seeking a Laborer who's ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America. Perform maintenance, equipment operation, grounds and housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain plant sites, buildings, grounds and equipment managed by regional business entities. Cleans and prepares sites and plants by removing trees and debris, tends pumps, compressors and generators. Participates in mechanical maintenance activities that may require the use of hand tools and equipment. May assist with traffic control on site when required. Monitors plant for material spills and mechanical failure and report to site management when identified. Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required, determine when equipment is in need of repair and inform appropriate authorities. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Education: High School diploma/GED. Please note that equivalent years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Required Work Experience:
Ability to work outdoors. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
