Part-Time Hospital Services Tech
Working up to 16 hrs a week
$20/hr & Early Day Shift
I. Job Summary
Under management direction, a Remote Hospital Services Technician provides service to a customer healthcare facility located outside the boundaries of service established for existing service teams. These healthcare facilities most often are located within a small labor market, and are considered remote to normal business operations. Often, the remote facility is an hour away from other healthcare facilities serviced by the Company. Remote Hospital Service Technicians generally work a minimum of 10 hours or less per week. Team members within the local small labor market typically are responsible to service a single healthcare facility.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Travels between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for various WMHS programs and services, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substance and Document Management.
Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule.
Communicates duty status on a defined scheduled.
Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
This position requires on-site presence at WMHS customer locations and compliance with all mandatory immunization requirements imposed by such customers, and
2 years industry related experience in a customer service capacity preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service in a variety of settings and situations or preferred education requirement
Valid Driver's License
B. Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (accredited)

Monday: OFF
Tuesday: Beaufort Memorial Hospital
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: Coastal Carolina (Hardeeville, SC)/Hilton Head/St. Joseph's-Candler Bluffton Campus
Friday: OFF
*Schedule is subject to change based on Business needs
*Roughly 16 hours per week
