Part-Time Machine OperatorStart your new career as a Part-Time Machine Operator with MAU at Salus Scientific in Charleston, SC. As a Part-Time Machine Operator, you will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality parts while supporting efficient production in a fast-paced team environment.What We Offer:Pay of $18.00 per hourFirst shift schedulePart-time hours (20–25 hours per week)Flexible schedule between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMMonday–Friday schedule (no weekends)Referral programHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for career growth and professional developmentPotential pay increase after a 90-day performance evaluationGreat option for a second jobWhat We're Looking For:Experience operating manufacturing machinery (1–2 years preferred)Experience with CNC equipment, laser cutting machines, or hydraulic presses preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to read technical manuals and blueprintsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsBasic computer skills for production data entry preferredStrong communication and teamwork skillsWhat You'll Do as a Part-Time Machine Operator:Operate and monitor CNC routers, laser cutting machines, and hydraulic presses to produce parts according to specificationsSet up equipment based on job requirements, including configuring CNC programs and adjusting machine settingsLoad, unload, and feed raw materials into machines while verifying material qualityPerform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairsTroubleshoot machine issues and report complex mechanical problems to supervisorsMaintain accurate production records including output quantities, quality checks, and downtimeCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goalsAssist with training new operators and support continuous process improvementsFollow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment in the manufacturing environment
