Job description
MonitorMonitor Location: Oakdale Elementary School Reports to: Principal Salary and terms of Employment: Range - $18.81 per hour Anticipated Start Date: Upon Hire 10-Month Position Daily Schedule: 10:45 A.M.-2:00 P.M. M-F (up to 15 hours per week)Performance Responsibilities:Actively supervise students in the cafeteria, on the playground, in the hallways, and/or other area assignedPromote student safety by ensuring an orderly environment in which students adhere to school regulations and expectationsDevelop positive relationships with students by recognizing appropriate behaviors and treating every student with dignityAddress inappropriate behavior with calm verbal remindersReport significant or repeated misbehavior to the classroom teacher or administratorReport any student injuries immediately to the school nurseSupport and communicate with other monitors and staff membersEnsure that no child is left unsupervisedEscort students in hallwaysProvide written reports of significant behavior issues and student injuries
