Come be a part of our custodial services division and set your goals high to grow along with our company.Position: Custodian (full-time)Department: Custodial - ServiceFM LLC Reports To: Custodial Manager Employment Type: Hourly (Non-Exempt)Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys cleaning and doing floor maintenance in a school facility in the Green Hills area (Nashville). The Custodian is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks and maintaining a clean and orderly environment.Responsibilities:Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, wet and dry mopping, restroom, gym, classrooms, and/or cafeteria cleaning, trash removal, grounds debris removal, window and door cleaning, and more.Set up and clean up for events, which may involve moving furniture.Perform floor and carpet maintenance periodically (school breaks).Hours:Regular Schedule: 30 +hours per week, Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM.Occasional opportunities for additional hours, including evening and weekend work, may be available to support special events throughout the year.RequirementsQualifications:Successful completion of a required background check to work in a school environment.Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including walking, bending, stretching, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pulling, and pushing.Strong customer service skills and a responsible work ethic.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Capability to precisely track and log work hours using a smartphone or computerAbility to work in a Smoke-free environmentCompensation:Hourly wage: $17 per hourFull-time Benefits (after 60 days) Voluntary health insurance (medical, dental, vision, HSA, life, disability, accident, critical illness - employee premiums).Company-paid $15,000 group life insurance.Company-paid family telemedicine services.40 hours of annual PTO (Accrual basis)Additional Compensation: Semiannual Custodian Incentive Bonus (up to $0.50/hour extra)Employee Referral Bonus$25 Birthday Gift CardCompany Description: SFM is a preeminent facility management company servicing non-profit organizations in Middle Tennessee since 1998.
