AnestablishedprivateoptometrypracticeinBoise,Idaho isseekingapart-timeoptometristtojoinitsteam.Thisisanoutstandingopportunityforadoctorseekingflexibility,clinicalautonomy,andthechancetoprovidecomprehensiveprimaryeyecareinoneofthefastest-growingcitiesintheNorthwest.
Thepracticeisseekinganoptometristtoworkonetothreedaysperweek ,withschedulingtailoredtothecandidate’savailability.Saturdaycoverageonetotwotimespermonthispreferredbutnotrequired,andtheownerishappytoworkwiththerightindividualtocreateaschedulethatfitsbothparties.Thereisalsopotentialforadditionaldaysinthefutureasthepracticecontinuestogrow,thoughadditionalhoursarenotguaranteed.
Patientcareiscenteredoncomprehensiveeyeexaminations,glasses,andcontactlensesinarelaxed,patient-focusedenvironment.Thepracticeprimarilyprovidesroutinevisioncare,referringmostmedicaleyediseasetolocalspecialists.Foranoptometristwithaninterestinexpandingmedicalservices,thereisflexibilitytograduallyincorporateadditionalmedicalcareintothepracticeovertime.
Doctorstypicallysee14to20patientsperday ,allowingampletimetodeliverpersonalizedcareandbuildlastingrelationshipswithpatients.Thepatientbaseconsistsprimarilyofadultswhilestillprovidingcareforfamiliesandpediatricpatients.
Experiencedstaffmembershandlepatientworkupsandpretesting,allowingdoctorstofocusonpatientcare.ThepracticeutilizesModernizingMedicine(ModMed) electronichealthrecordsandisequippedwith:
Optosretinalimaging
HumphreyVisualField
Cornealtopographer/wavefrontanalyzer
Autorefractor
Tonometer
Theidealcandidateenjoyscomprehensiveoptometry,contactlensfitting,andpracticingindependentlywhilehavingthesupportofanexperiencedpracticeownerwhenneeded.
