Optometrist (OD)
Optometrist – Part-Time (2 Days/Week), Primary Care Focus
A well-established practice is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to provide primary care services with an emphasis on comprehensive vision exams. This is an excellent opportunity for a patient-focused doctor looking for a flexible, low-stress schedule.
Position Highlights:
2 days per week
Primary care setting – focus on vision exams and patient relationships
Patient-focused environment – see 2–3 patients per hour with full tech support
Competitive compensation of $75-80 per hour translating to $156,000 plus

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD)
Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
Diagnose disease and vision disorders
Counsel patients regarding their vision needs
Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)
Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
License to practice in the state of NY
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a team environment
