Part-Time Payroll Specialist – Temporary ProjectWe are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to support a temporary payroll project from October through December 2026.The ideal candidate will be confident setting up and processing payroll and able to teach and train others on how to run payroll correctly going forward. Experience with QuickBooks and/or Gusto is preferred.What You'll DoSet up and/or review payroll systems and processesProcess payroll accurately and on scheduleHelp establish consistent payroll proceduresReview payroll for accuracy and troubleshoot issuesAssist with payroll-related reporting and recordkeepingTrain and teach staff how to properly run and process payrollCreate simple procedures and instructions for ongoing payroll processingHelp ensure the payroll process is organized and easy for others to maintainWhat We're Looking ForPrevious hands-on payroll experienceStrong understanding of payroll processing and payroll systemsExperience setting up payroll is highly preferredAbility to confidently train and explain payroll processes to othersExperience with QuickBooks and/or GustoStrong attention to detail and accuracyComfortable working independentlyGood communication and organizational skillsIf you also have experience with bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, or other accounting functions, there may be an opportunity for additional part-time project work beyond the initial payroll assignment.Pay: $25–$30/hour depending on experience Temporary, part-time project | October–December 2026
