Job DescriptionJob Title :- Physician Administrator 3 - Region 5 (Part time)
Location :- Gallipolis, OH 45631
Contract :- 3+ Months with possible extension
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical oversight by planning, coordinating, and directing the delivery of healthcare services.
Develop and maintain medical policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Serve as the primary care physician by conducting physical examinations, evaluating and treating medical conditions, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and completing medical documentation.
Collaborate with Certified Nurse Practitioners, nursing staff, interdisciplinary team members, families, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide medical consultation regarding resident health, treatment plans, and referrals.
Serve on committees related to admissions, infection control, medication review, emergency preparedness, incident review, and quality improvement.
Support compliance with applicable regulatory standards and assist with surveys and audits as needed.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Current, unrestricted Ohio medical license.
DEA registration.
