Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP)Progressive Directions, Inc. (PDI) is hiring a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM overnight shift in Hickman County. This position requires flexibility. While the primary shift is between the hours of 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM, applicants must be willing to be flexible with scheduling when needed, including weekends, holidays, and occasional additional coverage.This is an awake overnight position. The DSP must remain alert and available throughout the entire shift to provide support and respond to the needs of the individuals in the home. Reliable attendance is essential. The people we support depend on their DSPs being present and ready to work their scheduled shifts.As an Overnight DSP, you'll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities while helping maintain a safe and supportive home environment throughout the night.Responsibilities may include:Providing supervision and support throughout the overnight shiftAssisting with toileting, personal hygiene, and other personal care needsResponding to individual needs during the nightAdministering medications according to agency policy and trainingFollowing Individual Support Plans (ISPs)Completing required overnight documentation and medication recordsCompleting assigned household responsibilitiesAssisting individuals with their nighttime and morning routinesPreparing individuals for their day as neededCommunicating changes or concerns to supervisors and incoming staffMaintaining a safe, clean, respectful, and supportive environmentPart-Time Benefits & PerksPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid Sick LeavePaid TrainingOn-Demand Pay – access a portion of earned wages before paydayEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Referral BonusesOpportunities for additional hours and career growthAbout PDIFor 50 years, Progressive Directions, Inc. has supported people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Middle Tennessee.
