Psychiatrist (Part-Time)
Location: Idaho State Correctional Institution – Kuna, ID 83634
Job Type: Part-Time
Centurion is the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Idaho Department of Correction. We are seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join our team at the Idaho State Correctional Institution located in Kuna, Idaho.
Job Description: The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team to deliver mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
Qualifications
Idaho unrestricted medical license or ability to obtain one
Board Certification in Psychiatry
DEA registration
Must pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance
Schedule
22 hours per week, worked in two 11‑hour shifts. Weekday daytime flexible schedule.
