Find your calling at Mercy! The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging and accurate documentation standards. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.Position Details: Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
Experience: no experience required. Will train into CT.
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry or registry eligible. Achieved ARRT registry within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Proficiency in operating radiographic imaging equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Physical Requirements:
• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
