Hendrick Motorsports Retail SpecialistHendrick Motorsports is currently seeking a part-time retail specialist to join our team.POSITION SUMMARYAssist customers with merchandise-related questions and process sales. Responsible for appearance of store and merchandise in stock. Manage sales calls and customer inquiries. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions:Ability to effectively communicate with guestsGreet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needsDescribe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customersRecommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desiresCompute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit paymentAnswer questions regarding the store and its merchandisePrepare sales slips or sales contractsMaintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practicesDemonstrate use or operation of merchandisePrepare merchandise for purchaseInventory stockKeep retail area clean for customersTicket, arrange and display merchandise to promote salesExchange merchandise for customers and accept returnsOpen and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making depositsSKILLS & ABILITIES:Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): RequiredComputer Skills:Basic computer skills required.Hendrick is an Equal Opportunity employer.
