Retail Store ProcessorAt The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.Location: Ann Arbor MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduledWhat You'll DoSort, tag, and price merchandiseHelp track and report production numbersMove processed merchandise to sales floorProvide friendly, helpful service to donorsReceive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departmentsMaintain clean work and storage spacesWork together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stockTraining ProvidedPaid training on store proceduresOngoing coaching and support from store leadershipOpportunity to build retail and customer service skillsWhy Join UsMission-driven work that supports programs in your communityOn-the-job trainingTeam-oriented environmentEmployee Discount, Employee Assistance Program, and more!Retail Store Processor What You'll Need Required Ability to process donated merchandise Reliable attendance and punctuality Basic communication and teamwork skills Basic math and computer skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day High school diploma or currently pursuingPreferred Previous retail or thrift store experience The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
