Job description
The Usher/Usherette assists guests by directing them to the appropriate seating areas and other venue amenities, answers questions about the race track, and helps to solve guest issues as they arise. They also ensure that each guest attending any event held at Oaklawn is welcomed with the highest level of customer service. Always presents a friendly and professional image at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort. Engage in meaningful and personalized conversation while assisting customers in making informed choices regarding their Oaklawn experience.
Review and retain information from Oaklawn in order to support and promote all business units by communicating details of marketing promotions and upcoming events.
Assist in keeping customer seating areas clean throughout shift by assisting Food and Beverage with bussing duties.
Enhance the customer experience by building and maintaining positive relationships with season seat holders and other regular guests.
Ability to work required overtime.

Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to use hand held 2-way radio in a professional manner
Previous customer service experience required
