Part Time Security OfficerPrimary Locations: Denver & Englewood, COWage Range: $22.00-$25.70/HRThe Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.Perks & Benefits:Life, AD&D, & Disability Insurance.Virtual Medical Appointments With Telemedicine.Paid Time Off, FREE Uniforms, Paid Training. & Paid Weekly.Employee Assistance Program.DailyPay Access Program!!Discounts on Childcare, Pet care, vehicles, cell phones, travel & So Much More!What You Can Expect:Patrol assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, and unauthorized persons.Respond to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force is required.Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.Basic Requirements:18 years of age or older.High School Diploma or GED required.Above average computer / technology skills needed.Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.Must be able to work independently.Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.Must have a professional demeanor.Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.Securitas is committed to equal employment opportunity.
