Job description
Physical Security OfficerIn this role Physical Security Officers (PSOs) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. PSO's may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. The PSO's mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services.Job Duties / Essential FunctionsDelivering high end customer serviceResponding to emergenciesDeterring and preventing crimePerforming ingress/ egress control proceduresInvestigating incidentsCompleting daily logs and incident reportsConducting regular walking or vehicle patrolsBuilding and Maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workersDe-escalating conflictsMonitoring CCTV camerasPerforming other related duties as assignedSkills / QualificationsHigh school Diploma or GED equivalentTwo years of face to face customer service experienceTwo years of security experienceBasic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Office, etc.)Excellent written and oral communication skillsProficient time management skillsReliable transportationExcellent de-escalation skillsProactive problem solving skillsMust be able to obtain state required security officer licenseAbility to obtain OCAT, PATH, and PPBT certificationsMust be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirementsPhysical Requirements / Working ConditionsAbility to work under stress / pressureAbility to lift 25lbsAbility to wear a uniformAbility to use force, up to and including deadly force, when reasonably justifiedDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
