Temporary Part-Time Baker's AssistantUnder the general supervision of the Worksite Supervisor, will work on a part-time basis from 8am - 2pm Monday through Friday, and provide high-quality food service, specifically focusing on the preparation and baking of MHALA's locally famous cookies. This position is temporary with an estimated duration of 3 months.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This is not an exhaustive task list, and other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate or necessary by the supervisor or program director. The agency will consider individuals with a criminal history in accordance with both the Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers (FCO) and the California Fair Chance Act (FCA).Will help scoop, weigh, assemble, arrange, and bake approximately 170 dozen cookies in a bakeshop setting on a daily basis.Will clean up after bakingOther duties as assigned.Position Requirements:High School diploma preferredBaking experience preferredMust display a high degree of reliability and accountabilityWeekly Monday through Friday work schedule of 8am – 2pmTB clearance and yearly re-test are conditions of employmentCOVID-19 vaccinations or booster shots are not currently required, however this may become a requirement in the future. Failure to abide by any agency policy, including those relating to a vaccine or booster shot may result in termination of employmentEmployment verification directly from three (3) past employers within the most recent 7-year period
