Unarmed - Security Officer (Pacific, MO)Join our dynamic security team as a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer dedicated to safeguarding our Pacific location. In this vital role, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your proactive presence and vigilant monitoring will help prevent incidents and respond swiftly to any security concerns. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a fast-paced setting while making a meaningful impact on safety and peace of mind.Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter unauthorized access and maintain safety standardsControl access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractorsConduct surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security issuesRespond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as neededPerform routine inspections to ensure the integrity of physical security measures and report any irregularitiesMaintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and access records for accountability and reporting purposesAssist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and intervening appropriatelyPrior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirableKnowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and conflict management techniquesCertifications in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response procedures are preferredStrong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shiftsExcellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the publicAbility to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while enforcing policiesPhysical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as requiredEmbark on a rewarding career where your vigilance helps create a secure environment for all.
