Position:
Part-Time Universal School Aide
Description:
Performs a variety of general cleaning activities including dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
May perform simple clerical duties or record keeping
Prepares specific food items, following appropriate standards for food preparation, handling and service, ensuring the temperature, portion of food and timeliness of service
Delivers mail and packages as needed
Responds to procedures for alarms and alerts including notifying appropriate staff
Assists teacher and bus drivers in supervising recreation periods, lunch periods, study halls and transportation of students
Keeps grounds free of litter; mows, rakes and cuts grass
Removes snow and ice from walks, pathways and steps
Oversees students in gymnasiums, locker rooms, swimming pools, cafeteria, playgrounds, buses, and other student access areas as requested
Qualifications:
Civil Service status as a Universal School Aide
