Part time Weekend Nurse Liaison - $5000 Sign-on Bonus
Named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks a Part-time Weekend Nurse Liaison to join its expanding weekend nurse team. This is an on-site position located at Newton Wellesley Hospital.
Job Responsibilities
The position of Part-time Weekend Nurse Liaison is to provide information about hospice services to patients, families, and hospital-based staff, to conduct clinical assessments, coordinate hospital discharge plans, and maintain professional relationships within hospitals, with a focus on the assigned hospital.
Schedule and Weekly Hours
20-hour role. Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 am to 7 pm.
Education, Skills and Experience
Licensed by the Commonwealth of MA as a Registered Nurse.
At least two years experience preferred in community health, oncology, hospice, or palliative care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with hospital staff, Good Shepherd colleagues, patients, and their families
Highly skilled at providing patient assessments and evaluations.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Competency with accepted standards of hospice nursing practice.

Pay Range:
$44,500-$53,000: This number reflects an average starting range for this position. Individual pay is determined through a variety of factors including experience, education, certifications, and skills and can exceed the range.
