The ideal candidate is comfortable managing complex chronic conditions, particularly those related to wound care, and thrives as a collaborative team player within an interdisciplinary healthcare setting. ## Key Responsibilities - Provide wound care to long-term care residents in skilled nursing facilities - Assess and manage acute changes in condition; initiate appropriate diagnostic workup and treatment - Conduct advanced care planning and manage chronic disease conditions - Prescribe medications including controlled substances in accordance with Ohio law - Communicate with nursing home staff and collaborate with attending physicians on care plans ## Qualifications - Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio (required) - National board certification (AANP or ANCC) - Active DEA licensure - Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties - Strong wound assessment skills, knowledge of NPIAP staging, experience with advanced wound products and wound vac therapy, wound certification preferred - Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting preferred - Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) ## Benefits - Continuing education credits, recertification reimbursement, malpractice insurance coverage, bonus pay - Mileage reimbursement, disability insurance Schedule - Part Time-based schedule serving skilled nursing facilities in Celina, OH Location Celina, OH 45822 Celina, Ohio, offers a charming small-town atmosphere with the beautiful Grand Lake St. Marys at its heart, providing ample opportunities for outdoor recreation.
