We serve commercial and private sectors with services ranging from background checks and risk assessments to passenger screening and aircraft security.Position Summary:As a Charter Screener, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of air travelers by screening passengers, baggage, and aircraft to prevent prohibited items from being transported. This is an on-call position, ideal for individuals with flexibility and a strong commitment to security and service.Key Responsibilities:Conduct passenger and baggage screening in compliance with TSA regulations.Perform aircraft searches and monitor access to secure areas.Identify security threats and respond appropriately using screening techniques and equipment.Maintain accurate communication with supervisors on security matters.Provide travelers with TSA information in a professional and courteous manner.Verify passenger manifests against watch lists.Maintain focus and composure in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.Display a professional image and adhere to uniform and appearance standards.What We're Looking For:Must be 18 years or olderHigh school diploma or GEDU.S. citizenReliable transportation and telephone accessAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAble to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing and random screeningsPhysically able to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbsWilling to work both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditionsMust maintain a neat, professional appearance—no facial piercings or visible tattoos (below the wrist or above the neck)Must own a cell phone and have an active email accountWilling to work overtime if requiredCompletion of all required Huntleigh and airline-specific trainingHold a valid, unexpired NJ State Police SORA licenseProvide a valid driver's license and a 5-year driving abstractWhy Join Huntleigh?Gain valuable experience in aviation and securityWork with a team that values professionalism and serviceOpportunities for future growth and development within the companyBe part of a team that makes a difference.
