*Partner-Level Attorney — Help us Build our Sarasota Office Location*

Brick Business Law is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial attorney who wants the opportunity to *help build and lead our existing presence in Sarasota*.
This is not simply an opening for an attorney looking for their next position. We are looking for someone who is excited about building something — developing relationships, growing a practice, serving clients at a high level, and helping establish Brick Business Law in a market where we see significant opportunity.
We currently have a small office in Sarasota and want to further invest in the area for growth. We are also open to the right attorney in other Florida communities where there is a compelling opportunity to grow.
*The Opportunity*
The attorney joining us would serve as the firm's senior presence in the market, while having the support and resources of an established and growing law firm behind them.
Rather than building a practice from scratch, you would be able to leverage Brick Business Law's existing:
* Marketing and business-development infrastructure
* Established brand and statewide client base
* Intake and lead-generation systems
* Administrative and operational support
* Technology and practice-management systems
* Existing attorneys and legal professionals
* Referral relationships and professional network
The goal is to develop a meaningful Brick Business Law presence in the market and, over time, help grow the office, client base and team.
*Who We're Looking For*
The ideal candidate is an experienced Florida attorney who combines strong legal ability with an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset.
You may already have an established book of business and relationships in your market, or you may have a demonstrated ability to develop business, build professional relationships and convert opportunities into long-term clients.
You should be comfortable both *originating your own work and helping convert prospective clients generated through the firm's marketing and referral efforts.*
We are particularly interested in attorneys with deep (5+ years required; 7+ preferred) experience in:
* Business and commercial litigation
* Outside/general counsel services
* Employment law
* Business transactions and M&A
* Construction law
* Commercial real estate
* Estate and business succession planning
* Other complementary business-focused practice areas
We are open to candidates whose practice expands our existing capabilities where there is a strong strategic fit.

That may include:
* Developing and expanding a portable book of business
* Building relationships with business owners and professional referral sources
* Converting qualified opportunities generated by the firm
* Increasing Brick Business Law's visibility within the local business community
* Collaborating with firm leadership on market-development strategy
* Identifying opportunities for additional attorneys, practice areas and clients as the market grows
* Delivering excellent, practical and compassionate representation to our clients

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
