Leading at Impetus
The Partner Sales-Databricks will lead Impetus’s go-to-market strategy, business development, and strategic partnerships centered on Databricks. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by expanding our Databricks-focused presence across key industries, and shaping client engagement strategies around modern data platforms, AI/ML, and cloud migration initiatives.
Skills Required:
8+ years of experience in enterprise software or consulting sales, with at least 5 years focused on data modernization, analytics, or AI platforms.
Proven success selling Databricks solutions or directly managing a Databricks partnership with measurable revenue impact.
Strong understanding of the modern data and AI ecosystem, including cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Demonstrated track record of closing large, complex enterprise deals and building senior executive relationships.
Excellent executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, delivery, marketing, and product teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Nice to Have:
Established network within the Databricks ecosystem, including field sales, sales leadership, product and GTM teams.
Experience leading go-to-market initiatives within consulting or professional services organizations.
Strong understanding of modern data architectures, lakehouse design, and AI/ML use cases.

Role:
What You’ll Do:
Define and execute a comprehensive Databricks sales and strategy to drive pipeline creation and revenue growth.
Build and maintain strong executive relationships with Databricks leadership, field sales, and strategic partners.
Identify, qualify, and develop Databricks-driven opportunities in collaboration with account executives, solution architects, and delivery leaders.
Partner with Databricks, product, and go-to-market teams to develop joint value propositions, campaigns, and co-sell motions.
Translate emerging Databricks services and capabilities into compelling business outcomes for enterprise customers.
Support forecasting, territory planning, and revenue reporting in partnership with sales operations.
Represent Impetus at Databricks events, industry conferences, and joint marketing initiatives.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
Pay Range: This offers a very competitive base salary and in addition, we offer a bonus which is dependent on achievement of targets by the role-holder as well as the organization.
