Turning Point USA is a 501(c)(3) grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to educating students about the importance of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government. With a presence on over 3,000 college campuses in all fifty states, Turning Point USA is one of the largest youth organizations in the country. ABOUT THE POSITION: Turning Point USA is seeking a bold, knowledgeable sales or marketing professional to lead the introduction of a sales team for various branding and marketing partnerships with corporate partners and other sponsorships. These marketing partnerships will be in conjunction with large-scale digital media projects as well as other influencer and event opportunities. As a sales representative, you will be responsible for driving sponsorship and marketing sales to reach TPUSA's fundraising and revenue goals to continue the mission and vision of the organization. The prospects will be a combination of pre-existing relationships and generated through cold calling via the phone or face-to-face, referrals from your network, or leads coming from partnerships you have set up.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Have working knowledge of Google Drive;
Have working knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent CRM;
Punctual and extremely responsive;
Be organized, a self-starter, and goal oriented;
Demonstrate high level of integrity and confidentiality;
Ethical and responsible behavior managing corporate expense accounts;
Have close personal alignment with the mission and principles of TPUSA;
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills needed to form working relationships with fellow colleagues;
Have competency in managing deadlines, multiple projects, and competing priorities;
Have strong verbal and written communication;
Reflect a strong work ethic and desire for excellence;
Ideally have past/present involvement in conservative youth organizations, experience starting campus organizations and/or, leadership experience in conservative youth organizations is an added plus, but is not necessary;
Willingness to fulfill all duties listed and any additional duties assigned;
Flexibility and enthusiasm for dynamic work environment.
“WOW!” SKILLS:
1+ years of sales or marketing experience;
Degree in a business, sales or marketing or any related major (Preferred but not required);
Previous involvement with TPUSA.
