Job Description Parts & Service Coordinator
Location: Farmingdale, NY
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate: $19 per hour
Position Overview
A well-established appliance service company in Farmingdale, NY, is seeking a Parts & Service Coordinator to support its Appliance Service Division. This role is responsible for tracking parts orders, expediting shipments, coordinating with manufacturers and vendors, and communicating with customers to ensure timely service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Work Schedule
Training Period: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, in-office
Post-Training: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM, in-office
Rotating Saturdays: Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM-2:00 PM, remote
One weekday off during weeks when Saturday coverage is required
Key Responsibilities
Track and manage appliance parts orders from placement through delivery.
Expedite shipments and follow up with manufacturers regarding estimated delivery dates.
Communicate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain order updates and resolve delays.
Answer incoming service calls and assist customers with questions and concerns.
Update service tickets and maintain accurate records in the company's system.
Coordinate with technicians and service managers to support timely service delivery.
Address customer issues professionally and work toward effective resolutions.
Monitor outstanding orders and proactively follow up to prevent service delays.
