Parts Shipping ClerkThe Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Parts Shipping Clerk. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. We are currently one of the largest automotive groups in the country, providing incredible growth opportunity.Schedule - Tuesday - Saturday 5am-1pmWhat We Offer:Pay starting at $18.00-$20.00 per hour (Based on Experience)Family Owned and Operated – 90+ years in business!Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401kPaid Vacation and Sick TimePaid TrainingDiscounts on products, services, and vehiclesFantastic Growth OpportunitiesJob Responsibilities:Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments, verify information against invoices, orders, and other recordsDetermine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and ratesKeep all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean and clearly labeledMaintain receiving and shipping records, delivery truck maintenance records and returned parts recordsUnpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortagesEnsure that outgoing shipments meet specificationsMaintain inventory of shipping materials and suppliesMust be able to operate heavy machinery (i. e. forklift, pallet jack, etc.)Job Requirements:High School Diploma or EquivalentOne year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department preferredMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to interpret parts vendor catalogs.Ability to use parts department computer systemGood communication skillsAbility to operate an automobileWillingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policyWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws
