Job description
Harley-Davidson Parts Shipping & Receiving AssociateThis position is responsible for the fast, accurate flow of parts from receiving to inventory to technicians. The role directly impacts technician efficiency, service revenue, and customer satisfaction. Accuracy, urgency, and accountability are required every day.Pull, stage, and deliver parts to technicians accurately and on timeVerify parts against repair orders before release to ServiceCommunicate immediately with Parts and Service Advisors on shortages or backordersReturn unused or incorrect parts same dayReceive and inspect all inbound shipments from Harley-Davidson and approved vendorsPost all received inventory in the DMS same dayProperly label, bin, and stock parts according to dealership standardsProcess returns, warranty cores, and outbound freight accurately and on scheduleMaintain clean, organized receiving and service staging areasAssist with cycle counts and physical inventoriesReport inventory discrepancies or shipping damage immediatelyZero preventable technician downtime due to parts flowSame day receiving and posting complianceHigh parts-to-service accuracy rateInventory and bin accuracyLow freight and return error rateHigh school diploma or equivalentDealership, powersports, or warehouse experience preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on feet throughout the workdayStrong attention to detail and sense of urgencyBasic computer and DMS experience preferredDependable, organized, and process-drivenTechnicians are never waiting on partsShipments are received, posted, and stocked the day they arriveInventory is accurate, clean, and audit-readyParts and Service leadership trust the operation completely
