Position Overview

We manage a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties and are looking for a part-time Leasing Consultant ('Community Ambassador') to provide leasing support on the weekends at The Residences at McCormick Village in Port Orchard, WA.
nThe ideal candidate has prior leasing consultant experience or has worked in sales previously. Our Leasing Consultants must have excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.

nResponsibilities
nnTour prospects, lease homes, and follow up with prospects
nBe familiar with all marketing aspects of the property including full knowledge of all available units, their current condition, rent rates and available move-in dates
nInspect property and model/vacant units daily to ensure optimum showable and rentable condition
nOrganize and implement Lease Renewal Program
nMaintain and adhere to Lease Expiration Management Program
nSupport residents with payments, maintenance requests, and property policies
nObserve and follow all Fair Housing, Equal Opportunity Employment, and Landlord Tenant Laws
nVerify all rental applications are correctly completed, signed, and processed timely
nComplete daily/weekly reports, traffic reports, market surveys and apartment status reports
nPerform new home orientations and move-in/move-out inspections
nCreate new Resident Files, new Rental Agreements, and complete all other applicable paperwork associated with new residents
n nQualifications
nnExcellent time management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
nStrong sales abilities, phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills
nReliable, organized, motivated, professional
nAble to achieve high-quality results under tight deadlines and changing work priorities
n2 years of residential/multifamily leasing experience preferred
nMust have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
n4-year degree or related coursework preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required
n nCompensation
nnPay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (new hire starting range: new hires typically start between $ per hour). The placement within the range is based on factors such as prior experience, education/training, and work performance.
nLeasing Bonuses: $200 per move-in
n n90-Day Introductory Period
nWe use a 90-day introductory period to help new team members get oriented, learn the role, and build confidence in their work. This time allows for training, feedback, and mutual alignment on expectations. At the end of the introductory period, we evaluate progress and fit to determine next steps.

nn8-hour shift, 2 days per week.
nSchedule will be Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am - 6:00pm.
nThere is potential for the schedule to expand to 3 days per week based on business needs. Additional hours are not guaranteed.
