About the Role:
nEXPRESS IT OF TOMS RIVER LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team in Toms River, NJ. nThis position is for a minimum of 2 afternoons a week with the potential for a more permanent role if desired as caseload builds.
nResponsibilities:
nEvaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
nDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
nMonitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, educators, and caregivers
nProvide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding therapy goals and techniques
nMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
nRequirements:
nMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
nCurrent NJ state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
nCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
nExperience with pediatric patient populations is a plus
nStrong diagnostic, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and staff
nAbility to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality care standards
nSome continuing education in orofacial myofunctional disorders and swallowing
