Overview
A law firm seeks a Patent Attorney to join their expanding Biotech team in Clayton, MO. The ideal candidate will support the firm's growing needs in the biotechnology sector.
Duties
Provide legal counsel on patent-related matters in the biotech field.
Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
Draft and prosecute patent applications.
Collaborate with clients to develop intellectual property strategies.
Requirements
Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
At least two years of laboratory research experience.
Remote candidates with at least four years of experience will be considered.
Education
Bachelor's degree, master’s degree, and/or doctorate degree in immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or similar fields.
Licenses & Certifications
Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
