Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year

Location

This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

Note

Candidates must have 3+ years of patent application drafting and prosecution experience, along with a strong technical background or hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, computer science, software, or closely related technologies.

Job Description

Draft and prosecute patent applications involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, software, computer science, and related technologies.

Work closely with inventors and technical teams to understand complex innovations and translate them into strong patent applications.

Manage U.S. and potentially international patent prosecution matters.

Respond to office actions and develop effective prosecution strategies.

Conduct technical and legal analysis to support patent portfolio development.

Collaborate with attorneys and clients on patent strategy and protection of emerging technologies.

Manage multiple matters and deadlines while delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work.

Stay current on developments in AI, ML, software, and patent law.

Qualifications

3+ years of patent application drafting and prosecution experience.

Experience with AI, machine learning, computer science, software, or related technologies.

Strong ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.

Excellent legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage matters independently in a remote work environment.

Collaborative, proactive, and client-focused approach.
